- Respektiere alle Budda Bilder und Figuren. Do respect all Buddha Images and figures.
- Ziehe deine Schuhe aus, wenn du einen Tempel, ein Haus oder bestimmte Einrichtungen besuchst. Do remove your shoes before entering a temple, somebody’s house and even some Shops.
- Mönche sind mit höchstem Respekt zu behandeln. Frauen berühren den Mönch nie. Do treat monks with the highest respect. Woman never touch a Monk.
- Ruhig bleiben, egal welches Problem oder Provokation auftritt. Do try and keep calm no matter what the problem or provocation may be.
- Informiere dich über eine Reisekrankenversicherung. Do make sure you have adequate travel insurance.
Bloss nicht / Don'ts
- Zeige niemals Respektlosigkeit gegenüber der Thailändischen Königlichen Familie. Don’t show disrespect towards the Thai Royal Family.
- Fasse niemals eine Thai Frau ohne Grund an. Keine Umarmungen. Don’t touch / hug a Thai woman without consent.
- Keine Zärtlichkeiten in Öffentlichkeit. Don’t be overly affectionate in public.
- Nicht Nacktbaden. Don’t sunbathe nude.
- Fasse niemanden an den Kopf oder seine Haare. Don’t touch a Thai person’s head or ruffle their hair.
- Nehme KEINE Budda's mit nach Hause. Don’t take Buddha images out of the country.
- Zigarettenkippen einfach wegschmeisen, Strafen bis 5000 Baht. Just throw cigarette end away, penalty till 5000 baht.
